Poems

Cat Power, takeoff during a sunset.
Then ambers of the windy city below.
Haven't felt this cozy before on a jet.
The cage became a cradle. Going home.

***

The moonlight dresses shadows

in long silver shrouds.
Crushing waves come to us,
lightnings descent, clouds
Full of rain, it washes through
all ashes and all doubts
As light from fire dances
celebrating all tomorrows.

Step through the door

Step through the door
And shiver no more
Leave stormy seas and your ship behind

Rest by the fire
Tonight you're my Sire
Heal with wine your wandering mind

I will tell you stories
Calm all your worries
With my singing all through the night

Pay me with smile
On this lonely isle
Warm my heart with light of your eyes

Some old poetry I found

Riddle of Steel

I stand bare in front of the storm
No strength left but anger
My hands rust with blood
My vision gets dark, but the heat
From within raises steam in the wind
My voice is gone, I can only scream
I've lost my face, I am a beast
No thoughts but the void
No mercy, no love, no compassion
Only the weapon and the flesh
Bound together forever focused
By the will: I know the riddle of steel
With no fear I rush into battle
To never look behind
Only the misty horizon ahead
Sharp edges of the mountains
Salt of the ocean in the air
No rules, no promises, no fate
I know no other way
I need no reasons but to stand
To not be on my knees on any land

Avalanche

Avalanche, feedback, chain reaction.
Liquid gas unchains from Neptune.
My factory starts a new production,
Movement carries ocean into a tune.

Reactor's bed was concrete.
Never reinforced, it had no fears.
Never intended to be split
By the shimmer of Neptune's tears.

Relation between celestial bodies
Reaches the critical mass, melting,
Setting free the rays for goddess.
Ongoing production, temple's ending.

Moonlight path on the water

Moonlight path on the water
So still, haunting cry of a loon
Would have pleased nature's daughter
As orange flames reach to the moon

Sun long time gone
No place for brightness
Until the night is gone
Careful subtleness

Walk in shadows deep and dark
Sing in whispers, dance in webs
Let the stars become a mark
Of ancient celestial steps

Feel the lake, silver and black,
Taste the air, viscous and cold,
Put a scarf around your neck
Let the northern night its secrets unfold

Test Poem - Untitled

Untitled test poem is random in its creation
A range of digits, frequencies of microwaves:
Spirits, teratogens, perhaps mystification.
When there are too many IPs time dilates.
Agoraphobia, Microcastle - suspended animation.

Mind Is A Prism

I am too tired to live in illusions
To foster and dwell in denial
I have awareness and there’s
Nothing I hide from myself

How many more shades of grey
Do I discover? Perhaps some day
Everything will be just grey
Mind is a prism that makes all colors

Unbound

Unbound by gravity
Carried by the wind
In-taking sweetness of the summer
Absorbing golden rays of light
Free from my own body
Liberated from foreign minds
I conquer fields and forests
I am the will embodied in flesh
Transcending my weakness
Cultivating unstoppable strength
Rushing through this world
Gaining consciousness
To share with the soil
To share with the skies
So hollow inside
I am resonating.
I am alive.

I AM WINTER

I AM WINTER, I AM SILENCE
I AM COLD, I AM DISPAIR
I AM FROST ON YOUR WINDOWS

I AM THE LAST SUNSET
YOU CAN SEE IN YOUR WINDOW

I AM THE END AND THE BEGINNING
I AM YOUR CREADLE
AND I AM YOUR LOVE
I AM YOUR PAIN
AND YOUR SORROW

ALL THE THINGS YOU CAN’T GET
ALL THE THINGS YOU DREAM ABOUT
ALL THE WORDS YOU WANT TO SCREAM

OUT-LOUD
OUT-LOUD

BUT I AM SO QUIET
I AM NOTHING

AND EVERYTHING

I AM WINTER

Frosted Windows in White Sinews

Frosted windows in white sinews
Let the voices of the wind
Come through in whispers, views
Of barren landscapes, tint
Won't let through street light
That I, admit, never liked
Would rather see candles flicker
They won't make me feel sicker
As brightness can be blinding
And I rarely find it guiding.
Instead I am fighting to preserve
Low tolerance to light,  it serves
Moving shapes of shadows
In the corner of my eyes
Every second one of them dies,
Envelopes, engages in silence
Calls to wonder frozen meadows
And leave all remnants of violence
Like a myriad of ghostly wolves
Singing to the pale sickle,
That left this place for dolls
Such as you and me to cycle
Through seasons of withering soil
Underneath patched concrete to toil
With no purpose but to live,
Love, give and forgive.

A Feather

A black feather fell into a pool.

Melted snow,
Child of a warm day,
Embraced it with viscous water,
But set it free,
And let it float
In the eye of cool grey skies.

The skies took a new guest,
They carried it ways but so vast
They lost it far in the West..

Then a feather fell on a pine.

So tall and slender,
With emerald branches,
Gently guiding its fall,
Young pine
Made it brush sandy soil
To rest
In the moss,
By a nest.

White Lies

White lies are melting,
Heavy snow's falling.
Sweet denial, bitter thoughts,
Momentary agonies,
Minutes of silence..

Too many cigarettes,
Flashes of light
In cold and quiet
Transparent morning
Winter darkness.

Only a matter of time
Until neurotransmitters
Deposit memories
Into the well of the past

That dries with every ray of sun,
With every reflection of the moon.

The emptiness is to be filled
Through means above self-destruction,
As this is my solution
For having everything but me.

Outlasted seconds

Outlasted seconds -
Sliced layers of orange skin -
"As Embers dress the sky"
Harmonize.

Facing thick ice
Need to reach
The old
Salt

Prospecting soil and sand
Bitterness to crystallize
Through patterns
Guide,

Not stamps,
All to let in
Much more
Than rays and knowledge.

Wisdom.

***

If you think that you are alone
You are wrong, you are wrong
If you think that you are alone
You are wrong, you are wrong

There's always something
There's always someone
Standing behind the curtains
Hiding behind the glass

It is hidden in a dusty corner
It may never sleep at night
It smells like strawberries
Unlike your breath and roses

It sounds like old strings
And quiet night summer wind
A whisper you once heard
With no distinguished words

A feeling and emotion
Turned into fine spirit
You will not dare to drink
And rather turn into ink

Forest weeps as forest sings

Forest weeps not unlike as it sings
Roads go straight when they don't
Moon is always here tides it brings
Unless sun is above, then it won't

Lethe runs fast but never brings home
Home is where a cat sleeps sweetly
When everyone's around we're still alone
Happiness and sadness are similar deeply

Great people do great things and are known
Greater do nothing without names they go
Secrets stay secret when remain unknown
Yes so often really means the opposite no

Days go by as years do and people too
Yet our life is everlasting, there's no death
What I am one day will also become you
Words are born and die with every breath

Silence

When the smoke is to glimmer in shade
I am the one who dissolves, braces pain
When the light is to cover my name
I will breath deep to not suffocate

The fire is focus, the fire burns steady
The heat is a product, not aim, not the end
Creating life, avoiding death, always ready
To disappear through glass, slip through sand

Evoking spirits when I don't remember
To be awake to take the exchange
Ghost is me, my ghost is the answer
It passes through gain, ignores the range

Separating parts for long so unknown
They need not to attract to each other
Too much danger may carry the dawn
The touch will be soft but I will gather

All strength and all coldness to withstand
All bitterns to mask the taste of emotions
To carry me into the grey shades' land
No matter, I am nothing but my devotions

Another mask, silver paint, worn leather
To be stored and restored by kindness
Yet, it will always belong elsewhere
As only night hours bring me guidance

Weak Results

Cold sun heats old bricks of granite
Brain sends signals to contract
Muscles, not tactile enough. Planet's
Meaningless symbols in the abstract

To analyze and study. Closeness
To the artifact, not much more
Desire for a nightlong access
In the end to step through a door

So easy to peal the layers of skin
Unlocking the unnecessary core
Revealing nothing to store therein
Masking passion for intimate lore

Petting zoo, free tickets and tricks
Allowed to feel the power of suns
Experiment under control flicks
With unwanted weak results

An hour before sunrise

Songs of morning birds
An hour before sunrise
Setting moon instead of
Daily dawning sun
And sounds
More subtle tones are
Amplified even inside
An hour before sunrise

It lasts

Dust and rust,
Five degrees
In my cup, lust
My name is on the list
Exercise and sweat
Metabolism is fast
Another glass
Half a pill
Over the hill
It lasts

Echos

Existence is the echo ringing
Ripples on the water
Flap of a bird's wing
We are echos, too
In unison everything sings
Amplified by the nothingness
Across the unknown world
Of everything that was, will be
And never became
Vibrations. And I can feel
The vibration of your soul
As a part of the orchestra
We sing together
Until we will be silent
And only echoes would still travel
Finding a new home, where everyone
Belongs, and no one goes

My name is always August

White, grey and black
Bitter springs,
Few smiles,
Determined walk.
Running out of time.
Expectations are melting,
Strings don't pull,
Egos, profanity.
Everyone is better,
Everyone deserves.
Short lives
Spent on dreaming.
Gleaming but breaking.
Flames extinguished
One by one.
No care for me.
I know what I am.
No place for misery,
My name is always August.
