i set myself above the whisper

i set myself above the whisper

i fill my lungs with the damp air
of melted snow with crisper

smell of winter than ever

my bare feet feel the cold

of dripping earth's womb

the silence takes a hold

of me and i sense its bloom

silence blooms in the winter

it spreads its petals

of melancholy
 in the midwinter

it makes me mold the metals

it makes me mold the metals

of my endoskeleton's weakness

and slowly burn the letters

i wrote to nowhere's bleakness

give me a hand and pull me out

from the grey of this day

into the shady dusk of doubt

that brings to me the night's way
